The comments and reviews from 'genuine' purchasers of this book have been favourable. Many saying that they did not realise the extent of the disinformation surrounding Madeleine's disappearance and that of her parents, until they read it grouped under one heading. This book is an excellent read for those that have not followed this case, as well as those who have.Many have been absolutely astonished at the degree of incompetency by the Portuguese police the 'Policia Judiciaria' (PJ) and have been shocked at how the now sacked and disgraced detective 'Goncalo Amaral' was allowed to head this investigation for five months.

The book concentrates on Goncalo Amaral and questions his investigative techniques, competency, and also asks many deep and probing questions.

The authors maintain there are approximately a truly staggering 168 questions that are pertinent to this case and which must be answered by Goncalo Amaral.Currently Goncalo Amaral, is now blatantly touting himself for money.

Goncalo Amaral, has employed an agent, who contacted Sky News and told them that Amaral was available for interview but it would cost Sky a staggering £80.000!

Agents/publicists do not come cheap, and can cost anything from around an eye opening £3000 per month up to double figure sums of around £40.000!

How much is Goncalo Amaral now earning out of Madeleine, to be able to employ an agent/publicist?

Amaral has already written a book and has made double figure thousands out of Royalties. He has sold the rights of this book to a Portuguese TV company for an undisclosed figure said to have run into many thousands of euros.Amaral has reported to have received huge payments from TV, radio stations for interviews and also from newspapers and magazines and is now apparently writing another book book about Madeleine.

Goncalo Amaral is making himself a millionaire out of a child he failed, out of an investigation he bungled. he claims things in his book and TV programme that are probably libellous and in any case are completely without foundation, proof, evidence or fact.

Goncalo Amaral, is without doubt seriously harming the reputation of Portugal and is bringing his former profession into serious disrepute. The question is HOW? How is he able to do these things? Who in Portugal is scared of stopping this man? And WHY?

These are the questions the above book asks and this is what makes this book different from others and such a compelling read.

Footnote: If Goncalo Amaral had put just a fraction of the effort into actually finding Madeleine, that he is now putting into making himself a millionaire at this poor child's expense, perhaps the tragic outcome of the abduction of Madeleine McCann would have been very different.

Here is a brief synopsis of what the book covers and why.

We of the Justice for all the McCann family forum have compiled this book for two reasons. Firstly, and most importantly, we wish to draw the public’s attention to the criminal miscarriage of justice perpetrated on Madeleine and her family, by those people originally in charge of the investigation into her abduction, in particular the disgraced former Polícia Judiciária chief, Goncalo Amaral.

We wish to put pressure on the British and Portuguese Governments to bring about a full and proper 'open' public enquiry into the handling of this case, to uncover what went wrong, why it went wrong, and discover if there was any corruption involved.

The aim of the book is also to try at least correct the enormous amount of disinformation that has been put out about Madeleine's disappearance, and that now surrounds her beleaguered parents. We believe this disinformation is actually doing great harm to the search for Madeleine McCann.

A great deal of this disinformation arises from the former lead detective Goncalo Amaral's book, which was written 'after' Mr Amaral was sacked from the Madeleine investigation, and after he was also relieved of his post as Police Chief in Portimao, The Algarve, Portugal, five months into the investigation. Much of what he has written is purely unsubstantiated and unfounded and is not backed with any proof, in fact it is just Mr Amaral's opinions. There is nothing wrong with having opinions, we all have them, but where the books of Amaral and Bennett fall down, is they appear to present their 'opinions' as 'fact'.

Secondly, we wish to counterbalance the book, ‘What really happened to Madeleine McCann? 60 reasons that suggest she was not abducted’ by Tony Bennett. This book has the potential, if allowed to stand unchallenged, to do the most enormous harm to the ongoing search for Madeleine. Mr Bennett’s book is, in our opinion, very poorly researched, highly and factually inaccurate, uses out of context comments, and in many cases could possibly be libellous. By comparison we have gone to great lengths to back up what we say, drawing from the official police files, undisputed quotes and other sources, verifiable wherever possible.

We believe that Goncalo Amaral presided over a very inferior investigation and as a direct result of his less than poor detective work, the investigation slipped into farce.

We demand that the questions put forward in our book, be put to Mr Amaral, and that he must answer them and an official, proper and accurate account of his answers be made for the record. Further, if any wrongdoing is suspected, it must be investigated and if found correct, then due process of the law must be applied.

Madeleine and her family deserve nothing less.

Which is more than can be said of the books written by Tony Bennett and Goncalo Amaral. Goncalo Amaral has also had apparently lucrative deals with a television company whom he sold the rights of his book to, and who went on to produce some kind of documentary which was laughably called a reconstruction. Amaral has also apparently made money out of deals with magazines, newspapers, radio and TV companies.
Such a lot of money being made out of a missing child, who for all intents and purposes, has been failed by the investigative officer who was charge with searching for her and trying to bring her abductors to justice.
